Lehenga (or Ghagra Choli) is a traditional Indian ensemble comprising a flared ankle-length skirt, a fitted blouse (choli), and a dupatta. The fabrics used range from silk, cotton, georgette, crepe, net, brocade, and chiffon, crafted in styles that vary from simple elegance to richly embellished designs featuring mirrors, embroidery, chikankari, gold and silver zari, stones, pearls, and sequins.

The draping style of the dupatta differs across regions, inspiring various local names such as Chaniya Choli, Langa Voni, and Pavadai. Traditionally worn for weddings and festive occasions in the northern states of India, the lehenga has evolved into a contemporary fashion statement, popularized by Bollywood and modern designers alike.
