Create Our Community Peacock π¦ β Willow Workshop at Waddesdon Chilli Fest
Join Holy Cow Community for a joyful, hands-on willow workshop, and help create something truly special: a magnificent illuminated peacock, built together, piece by piece.
Working with willow, paper and natural materials, participants will help construct and decorate a large, colourful peacock puppet β and everyone leaves their mark on it. Each visitor to our stall gets the chance to design and make their own individual “eye” for the peacock’s spectacular tail, using their own colours, patterns and ideas, before adding it to the growing creation.
The workshop celebrates a simple idea: just as every eye on the tail is unique, when they all come together they create something far bigger and more beautiful than any single piece. It’s creativity, participation and community, brought to life one eye at a time.
Once finished, our willow peacock will become a lasting centrepiece for Holy Cow Community events β before taking its place in the Aylesbury Festival of Lights parade, illuminated and ready to lead the way.
